No. Today, August 1, is the first Saturday of the month, so banks across India, including SBI, HDFC Bank, PNB, and others, are open as usual.
According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), only the second and fourth Saturdays are bank holidays.

August 13 (Patriot Day)
Banks will remain closed only in Imphal.

Banks will remain closed across India.
August 19 (Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur Jayanti)
Banks will remain closed only in Agartala.
August 25 (Onam, Milad-un-Nabi & Milad-e-Sharif)
Banks will remain closed in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Vijayawada.
August 26 (Varavafat)
Banks will remain closed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Delhi, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar, and Thiruvananthapuram.
August 28 (Raksha Bandhan and Other Festivals)
Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Gangtok, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Shimla, Srinagar, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Weekly Bank Holidays
Apart from festival holidays, banks will also remain closed on the following days:

Second & Fourth Saturdays: August 8 and 22
