The Toyota Glanza facelift has arrived in India with a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing a refreshed exterior, a new petrol engine and several feature upgrades to the popular premium hatchback.
Launched on October 14, 2026, the updated model also introduces Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and ventilated front seats, making it a more feature-rich option for buyers.
The facelift is available in five variants: E, S, G, V and V (O). Toyota has also introduced two new exterior colours, Bluish Black and Digital Teal Green, alongside the existing colour options.
Toyota Glanza Facelift Price and Variants
The new Toyota Glanza starts at Rs 6.99 lakh for the entry-level E variant. The updated hatchback is offered in five trims, with the top-end V (O) variant priced at Rs 10.49 lakh, ex-showroom.
The variant range gives buyers different equipment levels depending on their budget and preferences.
Customers should compare the features available in each trim before deciding which version best suits their needs.
Bookings opened on October 15, 2026, with a booking amount of Rs 11,000.
Toyota has announced that deliveries are expected to begin in the first week of November.
New Engine and Transmission Options
One of the biggest changes is under the bonnet. The facelifted Glanza replaces the previous four-cylinder petrol engine with a new-generation 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine that produces 61 kW of power and 112.4 Nm of torque.
The engine is available with a five-speed manual gearbox or an automated manual transmission (AMT).
Toyota has also retained the CNG option and introduced an AMT choice for CNG variants, giving buyers more flexibility when selecting a powertrain.
Toyota claims fuel efficiency of 23.80 km/l for the manual petrol version and 24.77 km/l for the AMT petrol variant.
Actual mileage may vary depending on driving conditions, traffic, vehicle load and driving style.
Ventilated Seats and New Safety Features
The cabin receives useful comfort upgrades, including ventilated front seats and wireless smartphone charging.
Other features include a head-up display, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and connected-car functions through Toyota i-Connect.
The most significant addition is Level 2 ADAS. The system includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, lane-departure prevention, autonomous emergency braking and high-beam assist.
These technologies are designed to assist the driver, but they do not replace attentive driving.
Toyota has also included six airbags, vehicle stability control, hill-hold control, ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a 360-degree camera.
Equipment availability can vary by variant, so buyers should confirm the exact specifications of the version they intend to purchase.
 Design Changes and Colour Options
The Glanza facelift gets a revised front design with a larger grille, updated front styling and redesigned LED fog-lamp housings.
The overall hatchback silhouette remains familiar, while the refreshed front gives the car a sharper appearance.
The addition of Bluish Black and Digital Teal Green expands the colour selection to seven options.
Inside, the dual-tone cabin theme continues, with new convenience features making the interior more practical for everyday use.
The updated Glanza continues to compete with premium hatchbacks such as the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.
Its combination of a new engine, additional comfort features and driver-assistance technology could appeal to buyers looking for a well-equipped hatchback.
With prices starting at Rs 6.99 lakh, the facelift brings meaningful mechanical and feature changes rather than just cosmetic updates.
Buyers should compare variant-wise equipment, transmission choices and on-road prices before making a final purchase decision.
