IRCTC has announced different prices depending on the number of adults travelling and whether a child requires a separate bed.

IRCTC Majestic Sri Lanka Tour Package Details

The special tour is scheduled to operate for seven days, from November 20 to November 26.

Travellers will depart from Lucknow on an Air India flight and visit four major Sri Lankan destinations: Negombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Colombo.

Accommodation will be arranged in three-star hotels. The package also includes Indian meals, with breakfast, lunch and dinner provided for five days, according to the announced itinerary.

Bookings are available through the IRCTC website and are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Travellers should check the current availability and complete package conditions before making payment.

Major Attractions Covered in the Sri Lanka Itinerary

The IRCTC Majestic Sri Lanka Tour includes a mix of religious landmarks, natural attractions and cultural experiences.

In Negombo and the surrounding region, travellers can visit Munawari Temple and other important sites before continuing towards the island’s central highlands.

Kandy and Nuwara Eliya are among the key stops. The itinerary features a spice garden, Ramboda Waterfall, a Hanuman temple and tea plantations, offering visitors opportunities to explore Sri Lanka’s landscapes and religious heritage.

The sightseeing programme also includes Gayatri Peetham, Seetha Amman Temple, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Divurumpola Temple and Gregory Lake.

These destinations are particularly relevant for travellers interested in places associated with the Ramayana and Sri Lanka’s natural beauty.

Another highlight is Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, followed by sightseeing in Colombo.

The itinerary also includes Anjaneyar Hanuman Temple and Kelaniya Vibhishana Temple, along with opportunities to explore the capital city.

IRCTC Sri Lanka Tour Package Price

The package price varies according to the number of travellers and the accommodation arrangement for children. The announced per-person rates are as follows:

Single traveller: Rs 98,700

Two travellers: Rs 83,600 per person

Three travellers: Rs 82,900 per person

Child travelling with parents, with a separate bed: Rs 68,100

Child travelling with parents, without a separate bed: Rs 61,200

These rates are based on the package details announced by IRCTC. Travellers should confirm the final payable amount, availability and applicable terms during booking.

 Flights, Hotels and Meals Included

The tour is organised around air travel from Lucknow, hotel accommodation and meals.

Three-star hotel stays and Indian food are included in the announced arrangements, which may make the trip convenient for people who prefer a planned international holiday rather than organising every part of the journey independently.

Before booking, travellers should carefully review the complete itinerary and package inclusions.

They should also check the applicable passport, visa, travel insurance and other entry requirements for Sri Lanka, as these requirements can depend on the traveller’s circumstances and may change.

The seven-day programme combines religious tourism, sightseeing and cultural exploration in one trip.

For people considering an international holiday in November, the package provides a structured way to visit several well-known Sri Lankan destinations within a single itinerary.
