The government announced on Wednesday that the ‘e-Daakhil’ portal has now been successfully launched in all states and union territories.

This portal is designed to provide a cheap, quick, and hassle-free way for consumers to register complaints.

In addition, the government is also working on the launch of the ‘e-Jaagruti’ portal to further streamline the complaint process.

The e-Daakhil portal aims to simplify case filing, monitoring, and the management of consumer complaints. It ensures a smooth and easy experience for consumers

and other involved parties. The portal, which became active nationwide with its recent launch in Ladakh, now covers the entire country.

Success of e-Daakhil Portal Since Its Introduction

Launched for the first time on September 7, 2020, the e-Daakhil portal was created to improve the consumer grievance redressal process.

It offers a convenient and efficient way for consumers to reach the relevant consumer courts. Currently, there are 2,81,024 registered users, with 1,98,725 cases filed. Of these, 38,453 cases have already been resolved.

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs highlighted that the e-filing portal, with its nationwide reach, is set to transform the consumer rights landscape in India.

The government is also committed to continuously improving and expanding the platform to meet the growing demands of consumers.

e-Daakhil Portal Now Active Across India

With the recent launch of the e-Daakhil portal in Ladakh, consumers in every part of India can now access the platform.

The Consumer Affairs Ministry confirmed the nationwide rollout in a statement. The e-Daakhil portal was first introduced on September 7, 2020, to simplify the consumer grievance redressal process.

Currently, the portal has 2,81,024 registered users and has handled 1,98,725 cases, with 38,453 of them being settled.

The Ministry emphasized that the e-filing system, with its wide reach, is set to transform the consumer rights landscape in India.
