Today, Vakrangee’s shares surged by 5% after the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) granted approval for white label ATMs. The stock opened at Rs 15.10 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)

and reached Rs 15.92 after hitting the upper circuit limit. This increase in share prices came as a direct result of the RBI’s authorization.

Vakrangee is a diverse company, providing a wide range of services such as ATMs, banking, insurance, financial services, and e-commerce solutions.

As of January 31, 2025, the company operates 6,035 white label ATMs, with 76% of them located in Tier 4 and Tier 6 areas. Vakrangee was founded in 1990.

LIC holds a 4.4% stake in Vakrangee, as per BSE data. As of the end of December 2024, the promoters held 41.7% of the company, while the public held 51%.
