HDFC Bank, one of India’s largest private sector banks, has issued an important alert for its customers.

The bank’s customer care services will not be available for a few hours due to scheduled system maintenance. This step is being taken to ensure safer and better banking services in the future.

Service Downtime Details

According to HDFC Bank, some services will be unavailable from 11 PM on 22 August 2025 to 6 AM on 23 August 2025 (a total of 7 hours).

Services That Will Not Work

During the maintenance period, the following customer care services will be unavailable:

Phone Banking IVR (Interactive Voice Response)

Email and Social Media Support

WhatsApp Chat Banking

SMS Banking

???? However, customers will still be able to block their account or card through a dedicated toll-free number.

Even during this downtime, customers can continue using these services without any issues:

Phone Banking Agent Service

Net Banking

Mobile Banking App

PayZapp

MyCards App

This means transactions, balance checks, and payments will continue as usual.

Visit the nearest HDFC ATM

Insert debit card and enter ATM PIN

Select Other Options

Click on NetBanking Registration

The NetBanking PIN will be couriered to your registered address
