If you have an account with Punjab National Bank (PNB) and use its debit card, this update is very important for you. The bank has changed the daily ATM withdrawal limits for many of its debit cards.
This decision has been taken to improve customer security and promote digital banking. The new rules will come into effect from April 1.
According to a notice shared on the bank’s website, PNB is continuously working to reduce risks and make banking safer for customers.
Because of this, the daily ATM withdrawal limit for several debit cards has been reduced. This means you will not be able to withdraw as much cash in one day as you could earlier.
However, there is no change in the limits for transactions made through e-commerce websites or contactless payments. These limits will remain the same.
Customers can set or reset their ATM withdrawal limits (within the new maximum limits) through:
Internet Banking
PNB One mobile app
IVR
