At a time when LPG supply issues are being seen across the country due to the Iran war, a big relief has come for people in Gurugram.

North India’s first LPG ATM has been launched, where you can get a filled gas cylinder in just 2 to 3 minutes.

This smart machine has been installed at Central Park Flower Valley in Sector-33, Sohna.

The project has been started as a pilot by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).

How Does the LPG ATM Work?

This LPG ATM is fully automatic and contactless, making the process quick and simple.

Customers just need to enter their registered mobile number and verify it using an OTP.

After that, they scan the QR code on their empty cylinder and make a digital payment using UPI or card.

Once the process is complete, the machine gives out a filled cylinder and safely stores the empty one inside.

Lightweight and Safer Cylinders

The cylinders available from this ATM are different from traditional ones.

Instead of heavy iron cylinders, these are made of fiber and are much lighter, weighing around 15 kg compared to the usual 31 kg.

They are also rust-free, more hygienic, and come with a transparent design, so you can easily check how much gas is left.

24×7 Service and Quick Refills

One of the biggest benefits of this LPG ATM is that it works 24 hours a day.

This means you don’t have to wait for delivery or visit the gas agency during fixed hours.

You can get a cylinder anytime within minutes.

The machine can store up to 10 cylinders at once and automatically informs the agency when stock is running low.

A Step Towards Smarter Gas Services

This new system is seen as a big step towards modernizing gas distribution in India.

BPCL aims to make LPG services faster, safer, and more convenient using technology.

If this pilot project is successful, similar LPG ATMs could soon be introduced in other cities as well.

What This Means for You

For customers, this means less waiting, more convenience, and a better overall experience.

Getting a gas cylinder could soon become as easy as withdrawing cash from an ATM.
