Lenskart IPO: Price Band, Lot Size, and Listing Date announced

If you’re planning to invest in an Initial Public Offering (IPO), here’s some big news. Lenskart Solutions Ltd., India’s leading eyewear startup backed by SoftBank, is launching its IPO worth ₹7,278.02 crore this week.

The IPO will open for subscription on Friday, October 31, 2025, and will close on November 4, 2025. The price band for the issue is set between ₹382 and ₹402 per share.

Out of the total issue, 10% is reserved for retail investors. One lot includes 37 shares, and the minimum investment amount is ₹14,874.

Grey Market Premium (GMP) Update

According to market reports, Lenskart’s shares are trading at a premium of ₹69, or around 18%, in the grey market. However, it’s important to remember that the Grey Market Premium (GMP) is unofficial and may change quickly.

The IPO includes:

A fresh issue of new shares worth ₹2,150 crore, and

An Offer for Sale (OFS) of 12.8 crore equity shares, where existing investors like SoftBank, Temasek, and the company’s founders will sell part of their holdings.

Damani’s Investment Boosts Confidence

Before the IPO, Lenskart raised ₹90 crore in a pre-IPO funding round led by Avenue Supermarts founder and billionaire investor Radhakishan Damani.

Headquartered in Gurugram, Lenskart is rapidly expanding across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. The company currently operates 2,067 stores in India and 656 stores overseas.

For FY2024-25, Lenskart reported a net profit of ₹297 crore, a big turnaround from a ₹10 crore loss in FY24. Its revenue also grew by 22% to ₹6,625 crore.

Promoters, Investors, and Listing Details

Lenskart’s major investors include SoftBank, Kedaara Capital Advisors, and Temasek. At the time of filing the Red Herring Prospectus (RHP):

Promoters held 19.85%,

Public shareholders held 79.72%, and

Employee trusts held 0.43%.

The book-running lead managers for the IPO are Kotak Mahindra Capital, Morgan Stanley India, Avendus Capital, Citigroup Global Markets India, Axis Capital, and Intensive Financial Services.

The share allotment is likely to be finalized on November 6, 2025, and Lenskart shares are expected to list on stock exchanges on November 10, 2025.
