The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued an important alert for its customers. If you use digital services like the YONO app, UPI, internet banking, or other online platforms for your daily transactions, these services will be unavailable for one hour on the night of October 11th.

The bank shared this notice in advance to help customers complete all important transactions on time and avoid inconvenience.

SBI clarified that this is not a technical problem, but a planned suspension for routine system maintenance and upgrades. The maintenance will start at 1:10 am on October 11th and continue until 2:10 am.

During this period, key services including UPI, YONO mobile app, internet banking, NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS will be completely unavailable. Customers are advised to use nearby ATMs or access other bank accounts if needed.

UPI Lite and Customer Precautions

During this maintenance window, the UPI Lite service will remain active and can be used for small transactions. SBI has recommended that customers complete bill payments, money transfers, or other important online transactions before 1:00 am on October 11th. It’s also suggested to keep some cash handy for emergencies.

This maintenance comes after several customers reported issues with the UPI service, and SBI recommends UPI Lite as a quick alternative.

The goal of this upgrade is to enhance digital services, making them faster, more secure, and easier to use for customers.

Ignoring this alert could cause inconvenience, so SBI urges its customers to plan their transactions accordingly.
