POCO X8s Launched With Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display and 100W fast charging, adding a compact smartphone to the company’s X8 series.
The phone debuted in Vietnam and select international markets, with prices starting at approximately Rs 42,000. It has not been launched in India as of October 21, 2026.
The new handset combines a 6.35-inch display with a large battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
POCO is offering two memory configurations and three colour options, positioning the device as an alternative for users who want a smaller screen without giving up flagship-style features.
POCO X8s Launched With Snapdragon 7 Gen 4: Price
The POCO X8s is available in two configurations in Vietnam.
The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at VND 11,500,000, equivalent to around Rs 42,000, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version costs VND 14,000,000, or approximately Rs 51,000.
The smartphone is offered in White, Blue and Black. These prices are for the Vietnamese market, so they should not be treated as official Indian prices.
The phone is available for pre-order through an e-commerce platform in Vietnam. Buyers in other countries will need to wait for market-specific availability and pricing information.
POCO X8s Launched With Snapdragon 7 Gen 4
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built using a 4nm manufacturing process.
It runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, bringing the latest software platform listed for the device at launch.
The handset features a 6.35-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and reported peak brightness of 3,500 nits.
The compact screen size makes it smaller than many smartphones with displays above 6.7 inches, while the high refresh rate is designed to deliver smoother scrolling and animations.
The device is available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. These configurations give buyers different options depending on their storage requirements and expected usage.
POCO X8s Camera Features and Battery Capacity
The POCO X8s comes with a multi-camera system on the rear and a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Published specifications differ on the exact rear-camera configuration, so buyers should confirm the camera details for their market before purchasing.
The phone packs a 6,330mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging.
This combination is designed to provide substantial battery capacity alongside faster charging, although actual battery life will depend on network conditions, screen brightness and usage.
The handset also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. This rating provides a level of protection under specified testing conditions, but it does not mean the device is completely waterproof in every situation.
Other reported features include dual-SIM support, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and a USB Type-C port.
The phone weighs approximately 187 grams, making its relatively compact display an important part of its overall design.
Will the POCO X8s Launch in India?
As of October 21, 2026, POCO has not announced an official Indian launch date or India-specific price for the X8s.
The phone has debuted in Vietnam and is available in select international markets, but its availability in India remains unconfirmed.
Indian buyers should therefore avoid treating the Vietnamese price converted into rupees as the expected Indian retail price.
Taxes, local pricing decisions, distribution costs and launch offers can affect the final price if the device enters the Indian market.
For now, the POCO X8s offers a combination of a compact AMOLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 performance, a large battery and fast charging in overseas markets.
Buyers in India will need to wait for an official announcement before making decisions based on local availability or warranty support.
