NHAI Rajmargyatra App Adds Toll Plaza Feedback Feature, allowing National Highway commuters to rate toll plaza services, report problems and share suggestions through their smartphones.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) announced the facility on October 19, 2026, to help identify service-related issues and improve the experience of highway users.
The new feature gives motorists a direct way to communicate their experiences at toll plazas.
Users can submit ratings, select options relevant to their journey and add written remarks describing problems or suggesting improvements.
NHAI Rajmargyatra App Adds Toll Plaza Feedback Feature
The feedback facility is available through the Rajmargyatra mobile application.
According to NHAI, the initiative aims to strengthen public participation in monitoring toll plaza services and help authorities identify areas where improvements may be needed.
For commuters, this means they can share feedback about their toll plaza experience through the app rather than relying solely on informal complaints.
The information collected is intended to help NHAI monitor service concerns across the National Highway network.
The feature does not automatically guarantee that every complaint will result in immediate action. Its stated purpose is to provide an additional channel for collecting feedback and identifying areas requiring attention.
Who Will Receive Toll Plaza Feedback Notifications?
FASTag Annual Pass users will receive an in-app notification after crossing a National Highway toll plaza, inviting them to share their experience.
The prompt is intended to make it easier for travellers to provide feedback soon after using the facility.
However, receiving a notification is not a requirement for using the feature. If the alert does not appear, commuters can open the Rajmargyatra app and access the Toll Plaza Feedback option from the menu.
The facility is available to all Rajmargyatra users, who can submit feedback about any toll plaza through the menu. This means the feature is not limited to motorists holding an Annual Pass.
How to Rate a Toll Plaza and Report Problems
Commuters can use the new facility by following a few simple steps. They should complete the process only after stopping safely, rather than interacting with the phone while driving.
First, open the Rajmargyatra app on an Android phone or iPhone. If a feedback notification appears after crossing a toll plaza, users can open it to provide their response.
If there is no notification, open the app’s menu and select the Toll Plaza Feedback option. Choose the relevant toll plaza and provide a rating based on the experience.
Users can then select the available feedback options that best describe their journey. If necessary, they can add remarks explaining the issue encountered or suggesting how the service could be improved.
Commuters should keep their comments clear, specific and factual. Describing the service problem accurately can help make the feedback more useful for monitoring and identifying areas that need attention.
How the New Feature Could Improve Toll Plaza Services
NHAI intends to use the feedback to understand commuters’ experiences and identify toll plazas where service improvements may be required.
Ratings and written remarks can provide information about the concerns travellers encounter during their journeys.
For people who regularly travel on National Highways, the facility provides another way to communicate concerns about toll plaza services.
It also allows users who do not receive post-crossing notifications to share their experiences through the app’s menu.
The effectiveness of the initiative will depend on the feedback received and how the relevant concerns are reviewed and addressed.
The feature itself is a reporting mechanism, not a guarantee of a particular outcome for an individual complaint.
Highway users can therefore use the new option to share genuine experiences and help highlight recurring service issues.
By making feedback accessible through Rajmargyatra, NHAI aims to support continued improvements in toll plaza services across the National Highway network.
