The Chief Minister’s Youth Self-Employment Scheme launched by the Rajasthan government is receiving an enthusiastic response.
Within just 10 days of opening applications, more than 5,000 youth have applied.
The scheme aims to support one lakh young people in the state by helping them start their own businesses.

Interest-Free Loans Up to ₹10 Lakh for New Businesses
Under this scheme, eligible youth can get interest-free loans of up to ₹10 lakh to set up micro-enterprises in the manufacturing, service, and trade sectors.
The state government will pay the entire interest amount.
In addition, applicants will receive:
Reimbursement of margin money up to ₹50,000
Coverage of CGTMSE guarantee fees
The scheme was launched by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on January 12, and guidelines were issued on January 15. Online applications started on January 22.
According to Industry and Commerce Commissioner Suresh Kumar Ola, the response from youth has been overwhelming, with 5,089 applications received so far.
Districts With the Highest Number of Applications
Jaipur district recorded the highest number of applications at 385.
Other districts with strong participation include:
Churu: 270
Bikaner: 220
Tonk: 212
Hanumangarh: 209
Several districts such as Bundi, Sikar, Sri Ganganagar, Jodhpur, Dausa, Didwana-Kuchaman, Baran, Jhunjhunu, Nagaur, Bhilwara, Ajmer, and Jhalawar have received over 100 applications each.
Applications will be examined by district general managers and then forwarded to banks for loan approval and disbursement.

Required documents include:
Aadhaar card
Domicile certificate
Applicant photograph
Educational and technical qualification certificates
Proof of more than 51 percent ownership in case of institutional applications
Loan Amount and Benefits Under the Scheme
The benefits depend on the applicant’s educational qualification.
For Class 8 to 12 Pass Applicants:
Service and trade sector: Up to ₹3.5 lakh
Manufacturing sector: Up to ₹7.5 lakh
Margin money support: Up to ₹35,000
For Graduates, ITI, and Higher Qualifications:
Service and trade sector: Up to ₹5 lakh
Manufacturing sector: Up to ₹10 lakh
Margin money support: Up to ₹50,000
