HDFC Bank has informed its customers about upcoming service disruptions. Some key services, including net banking and mobile banking, will be unavailable for a few hours tonight and tomorrow.
The bank sent this alert via email, explaining that the downtime is due to scheduled system maintenance aimed at improving banking services.

Duration of Downtime
The main maintenance will last 12 hours, from 12 midnight to 12 noon today. During this period, both net banking and mobile banking will not be accessible.
The bank has asked customers to cooperate and be patient during this essential maintenance work.
Alternative Options for Customers
Even though net banking and mobile banking will be down, customers can still use other services to carry out transactions. HDFC Bank recommends:

These options will be available between 12 midnight and 12 noon today.
Additional Downtime Tomorrow
There will also be a 3-hour maintenance on February 22, 2026, from 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. During this time, the following services will be affected:
Account-related services
Deposits
Money Transfers (UPI, NEFT, IMPS, RTGS, and intra-bank transfer)
Online payments
Other account-related tasks
Customers can continue using PayZapp Wallet for payments and transfers during this downtime.
Previous Maintenance in February
Earlier in February 2026, HDFC Bank carried out maintenance twice:
14 February – From 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. (3 hours), net banking and app services were unavailable.
7 February – From 12 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. (90 minutes), UPI services were not working.
These scheduled maintenance activities help the bank improve its services and ensure smoother operations in the future.
