What is EPFO 3.0?

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) introduced EPFO 3.0 last year to upgrade its digital system and improve user experience.

The new platform aims to simplify all PF-related services, including claims, transfers, and withdrawals.

The complete rollout of EPFO 3.0 is expected by mid-2026.

With this upgrade, members are expected to get:

Faster claim settlement

Easy PF balance access

Quick transfer to bank accounts

How PF Withdrawal Through ATM and UPI Will Work

Under the new system, EPFO is expected to issue a special ATM card linked directly to the subscriber’s PF account.

Members will be able to use this card to withdraw PF money from ATMs.

Apart from this, PF balance transfers and withdrawals may also be possible through UPI platforms.

However, there will be awithdrawal limit.

Reports suggest that members may be allowed to withdraw only up to 50% of their total PF balance through ATM or UPI.

Who Can Use This Facility?

To use the new ATM and UPI withdrawal feature, EPFO members must fulfill some important conditions.

Members should have:
