Airtel unlimited data plans are now available in more telecom circles, giving prepaid customers in additional regions access to unlimited 4G and 5G internet without daily data limits.
The expanded availability covers four recharge options priced at Rs 399, Rs 449, Rs 1,099 and Rs 3,999.
The plans were initially available in select telecom circles. The latest expansion brings them to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Mumbai, the North East, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
Airtel Unlimited Data Plans: Prices and Validity
Airtel’s Rs 399 and Rs 449 prepaid plans come with a validity of 28 days. The Rs 1,099 recharge offers 84 days of validity, while the Rs 3,999 plan remains valid for 365 days.
All four options include unlimited 4G and 5G data without a fixed daily data quota.
Subscribers also receive unlimited calling benefits and 100 SMS per day, although the calling benefits may vary slightly by plan.
The Rs 399 plan includes unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, along with 12 months of Adobe Express Premium, Airtel Safe features and free Hellotunes.
The Rs 449 recharge offers similar calling and data benefits, with additional entertainment and digital services.
These include SonyLIV and access to more than 18 OTT platforms through Airtel Xstream Play Premium for 28 days, six months of Apple Music, 30GB of Google One cloud storage and 12 months of Adobe Express Premium.
The Rs 1,099 and Rs 3,999 plans focus on longer validity, unlimited calling and data benefits. Both also include Airtel Safe features and free Hellotunes.
Which New Telecom Circles Get the Benefit?
The expanded availability covers seven additional regional groupings: Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Mumbai, the North East, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
These regions join the earlier list of circles where the plans were available, including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh East, Uttar Pradesh West, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, West Bengal, Kolkata, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Bihar, Delhi and Karnataka.
The expansion means more prepaid customers can access the recharge options without having to depend on a daily data allowance.
However, availability should be checked for the subscriber’s specific telecom circle before recharging.
Is Airtel’s Unlimited Data Really Without Limits?
Although the plans are marketed as offering unlimited 4G and 5G data, Airtel has a fair-usage condition. Data consumption exceeding 300GB within 30 days may be treated as commercial usage.
This means customers who regularly use very large amounts of mobile data should check the applicable usage policy before choosing one of these recharges.
The unlimited 5G benefit is also subject to 5G network availability. Customers need to be within an Airtel 5G coverage area to access the 5G service.
What Customers Should Check Before Recharging
The expansion gives Airtel prepaid users more choices, ranging from a 28-day recharge to a year-long option.
The Rs 399 plan has the lowest entry price among the four, while the Rs 3,999 option provides the longest validity.
Customers should compare validity, additional benefits and their expected data consumption before selecting a plan.
They should also confirm that the recharge is available in their circle and keep the 300GB commercial-usage condition in mind.
