The planned shutdowns are linked to maintenance work at a power distribution centre in Kodigehalli.

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has scheduled the interruptions around the Seegehalli unit of the Tavarekere subdivision.

According to the schedule, power supply will be affected between 7 am and 6 pm on the four days.

The shutdown comes during the Diwali period, when households and businesses may need to make arrangements for the extended interruptions.

Bengaluru Power Cut Schedule From November 7 to 10

BESCOM has planned feeder-related maintenance work at the 66/11 kV power distribution centre in Kodigehalli. The work is expected to affect electricity supply in nearby localities and industrial areas.

The scheduled power interruption will run from 7 am to 6 pm. Residents in the affected areas should plan their daily activities accordingly and keep essential devices charged before the supply is interrupted.

The maintenance schedule covers four consecutive days, from November 7 through November 10, 2026. The affected areas are concentrated around the Tavarekere subdivision and its Seegehalli unit.

Full List of Areas Affected by Bengaluru Power Cut

The following residential localities and industrial areas are included in the announced shutdown schedule:

Chikkagollarahatti, Machohalli, Kachohalli, Bylakonena Halli, Byandana Halli, Vaddarahalli, Masabul, Rashi Residency, Seege Halli, Kadabagere, Kachohalli Industrial Area, Machohalli Industrial Area, Kalpa Industrial Area, Forest Gate Industrial Area, Pipeline Industrial Area and K.G. Lakk Enahalli.

Residents and business owners in these locations should check their local electricity supply updates, as maintenance requirements and restoration timings may affect individual areas differently.

Which Services Could Be Affected?

The scheduled shutdowns could affect more than household electricity use. Hospitals, clinics, banks, ATMs, pharmacies and traffic signals located within the affected power feeders may experience disruptions.

Industrial estates and retail establishments in the listed pockets could also face operational difficulties during the maintenance period.

Businesses that depend on uninterrupted electricity may need to make alternative arrangements.

Power interruptions could also affect local traffic signals, potentially causing congestion and delays for commuters, taxis and ride-hailing services.

However, no public transport suspension has been reported in connection with these planned outages.

How Residents Can Prepare for the Power Outage

Residents in the affected localities can reduce inconvenience by charging mobile phones, laptops and power banks before the scheduled shutdown.

Keeping emergency lights and torches ready can also help households manage the extended interruption.

Apartment residents may need to store sufficient water in advance, particularly where water pumps depend on electricity. Those using inverters or UPS systems should reserve backup power for essential appliances.

Shops, offices and industrial units should also plan for possible interruptions to equipment, refrigeration and other electricity-dependent operations.

The maintenance schedule is specific to the identified BESCOM areas. Residents outside the listed locations should not assume that their electricity supply will be affected by the same shutdown.
