People in Bareilly will soon be able to fly directly to Delhi and Noida, as new flight services are set to begin in July.

Ahead of the launch, IndiGo has reduced ticket prices on some routes, giving travelers a chance to book seats at lower fares.

The airline has lowered fares by around ₹1,000 on flights from Delhi and Noida to Bareilly. The move is expected to encourage more bookings before operations begin.

However, ticket prices may rise once more seats are booked and availability becomes limited.

Delhi Flights to Begin from July 1

Direct flights between Bareilly and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport will start on July 1. These flights will operate three days a week—Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

According to the schedule, flights from Delhi will depart at 1:35 PM and reach Bareilly at 1:36 PM. The return flight will leave Bareilly at 1:00 PM and arrive in Delhi at 1:05 PM.

Noida Flights to Start from July 2

Flights between Bareilly and Noida’s Jewar International Airport will begin on July 2. This service will run four days a week—Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The flight from Noida will take off at 10:30 AM and land in Bareilly at 11:20 AM. The return flight will depart Bareilly at 12:05 PM and reach Noida at 1:00 PM.

When the flight schedule was first announced, the ticket fare was fixed at ₹4,500.

Fares Reduced Due to Low Bookings

Since there is still time before the flights start, many passengers are either unaware of the new services or have not booked tickets yet. As a result, several seats remain available.

To attract more travelers, IndiGo has reduced fares from Delhi and Noida to Bareilly to ₹3,591, which is nearly ₹1,000 lower than the earlier fare.

However, the fare from Bareilly to Delhi and Noida has not seen a major reduction and currently stands at ₹4,265. This indicates that bookings from Bareilly are stronger than bookings on the return route.

Airline fares are expected to increase gradually as more seats get booked closer to the travel date.

Airport Preparing for New Flight Operations

Bareilly Airport Director Awadhesh Agarwal said that preparations are in full swing for the launch of Delhi flights from July 1 and Noida flights from July 2.

He also explained that airlines regularly adjust ticket prices based on seat bookings and demand.

Efforts are being made to spread awareness about the new flight services so that more people can take advantage of the direct connectivity to Delhi and Noida.
