Extended Benefits Until 2030
Even though the country has recovered from the pandemic, the Modi government has extended the PM SVANidhi scheme until 31 March 2030 to continue helping small businesses.
Initially, the scheme offered loans up to ₹80,000, but this was increased to ₹90,000 in 2025.
The scheme also provides a UPI-linked RuPay credit card, along with cashback on digital payments for retail and wholesale transactions.
This makes it easier for small vendors to adopt digital payments and grow their businesses.
Loans Without Any Guarantee
One of the biggest advantages of the PM SVANidhi Yojana is that loans are given without any guarantee or collateral.
The loan is provided in three installments, gradually increasing as the borrower repays the previous amounts.
Here’s how it works:
First installment: ₹15,000
Second installment: ₹25,000 (given after the first installment is repaid on time)
Third installment: ₹50,000 (disbursed after timely repayment of the second installment)
This phased system allows vendors to build creditworthiness and access larger loans over time.
