Mold-Tek Packaging Gives First-Ever 1:1 Bonus Shares

Mold-Tek Packaging has announced its first-ever bonus share issue for shareholders.

The company will issue bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio, which means investors will receive one free share for every one share they already own.

The company has not yet announced the record date for the bonus issue. It said the record date will be shared later. On Wednesday, the company’s shares closed 2.25% higher at Rs 709.20 on the BSE.

60% Final Dividend Recommended

Along with the bonus issue, Mold-Tek Packaging has also recommended a 60% final dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.

Shareholders will receive Rs 3 per share on shares with a face value of Rs 5, if the dividend is approved. The company will announce the record date for the dividend separately.

Earlier this year, the company had already paid an interim dividend of Rs 2 per share, with April 24, 2026, as the record date.

Shares Have Rallied Over 4,400% in 13 Years

Mold-Tek Packaging has delivered impressive long-term returns to investors.

The stock has surged more than 4,425% over the last 13 years. It was trading at Rs 15.67 on August 30, 2013, and closed at Rs 709.20 on August 26, 2026.

Over the last 10 years, the stock has gained 256%. It has risen 47% in the past five years and more than 68% in the last 17 months.

The stock’s 52-week high is Rs 870, while its 52-week low is Rs 453.80.

Company Earlier Split Its Shares

Mold-Tek Packaging had carried out a stock split in February 2016. The company split each Rs 10 face value share into two shares with a face value of Rs 5.

For the current bonus issue, the company plans to issue 3.32 crore bonus equity shares with a face value of Rs 5 each. These shares will be issued from the company’s free reserves.

After the bonus issue, the company’s paid-up share capital will increase from Rs 16.61 crore to Rs 32.22 crore.
