Bank branch services will not be available on these holidays. This means:

No cash deposits or withdrawals at branches

No cheque clearance

So, if you have important work, plan your visit accordingly to avoid delays.

Online Banking Will Work as Usual

There’s no need to worry about digital services.

UPI payments

Mobile banking apps

Internet banking

ATM services

All of these will continue to work normally, even on holidays.

Stock Market Holidays in May

The stock market will also remain closed on a few days. Both National Stock Exchange of India and Bombay Stock Exchange will be shut on:

May 28 – Bakrid

Apart from this, markets are always closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
