The company is preparing to issue bonus shares to its shareholders for the first time.

Goodluck India has announced the record date for the bonus issue as August 21, 2026.

Following the announcement, the company’s shares gained nearly 3% during Tuesday’s trading session.

The stock opened at ₹1,329.55 on the BSE and climbed 2.90% to reach an intraday high of ₹1,347.30.

Investors Will Get 2 Bonus Shares for Every 1 Share

Goodluck India has announced a 2:1 bonus share issue.

This means eligible shareholders will receive 2 additional shares for every 1 share they already hold.

The company has fixed August 21 as the record date. Investors whose names appear in the company’s records on the relevant date, subject to the applicable corporate-action rules, will be eligible for the bonus shares.

For example, if an investor holds 100 shares, a 2:1 bonus issue would mean receiving 200 additional bonus shares, taking the total holding to 300 shares.

How Has Goodluck India Stock Performed?

Goodluck India shares have delivered strong returns over the longer term.

According to the available figures, the stock has gained around 8% in six months and about 35% over the past year.

The company’s 52-week high stands at ₹1,672.75, while its 52-week low is ₹915.

Its current market capitalisation is around ₹4,434 crore.

Bonus shares are not the only way Goodluck India has rewarded shareholders.

The company also has a history of paying dividends.

Earlier this year, the stock traded ex-dividend in February, when the company paid a ₹3 dividend per share.

Before that, in 2025, eligible shareholders received a ₹4 dividend per share.

The company had also traded ex-dividend more than once during 2024.

Investors should remember that a bonus issue does not automatically mean a stock will rise in the future.

Share prices can move up or down depending on market conditions, company performance and other factors.
