If you are looking for a fixed deposit option, Suryoday Small Finance Bank has revised its FD interest rates.
The new rates came into effect on August 15, 2026, and apply to domestic deposits below ₹3 crore.
The bank is offering different interest rates for tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years.
Regular customers can earn up to 8.25% per year, while senior citizens can earn up to 8.50% per year on select FD tenures.
Highest FD Interest Rate Is Available on 5-Year Deposits
The highest interest rate for regular customers is 8.25% on a five-year fixed deposit. The annualised yield on this deposit is 8.51%.
Senior citizens get an additional benefit.
They can earn 8.50% interest on five-year FDs, with an annualised yield of 8.77%.
This makes the five-year tenure the most attractive option under the bank’s revised rates.
Suryoday Small Finance Bank FD Rates for Regular Customers
The interest rate starts at 4% for deposits with a tenure of 7 to 14 days.
For longer tenures, the rates increase.
Customers can earn 6.50% on deposits of six months and one day, while a one-year FD offers 7.25%.
Here are some of the key rates:
7 to 14 days: 4%
6 months and 1 day: 6.50%
1 year: 7.25%
18 months: 7.80%
30 months: 8.10%
5 years: 8.25%
The rates may differ for other tenures, so customers should check the applicable rate before opening an FD.
Senior Citizens Get Higher Interest Rates
Senior citizens receive an additional interest benefit on several FD tenures.
For example, the interest rate on a five-year FD is 8.50% for senior citizens, compared with 8.25% for regular customers.
Some key rates for senior citizens include:
6 months and 1 day: 6.65%
1 year: 7.40%
18 months: 7.95%
30 months: 8.25%
5 years: 8.50%
This means senior citizens can earn more interest than regular depositors on several eligible tenures.
