This fund gives global investors an easy way to participate in India’s fast-growing equity market and the growth story of the world’s fourth-largest economy.

How the Fund Will Invest

The product is designed as a retail-oriented inbound feeder fund. It will invest in:

Mutual fund equity schemes

Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)

By offering exposure to multiple categories, the fund opens India’s growth potential to international and NRI investors.

India’s Growth Outlook

According to Tata AMC CEO and MD Prathit Bhobe, the timing of the launch is crucial as India is entering a multi-decade growth cycle supported by:

Economic reforms

Strong demographics

Digital transformation

Infrastructure expansion

He also highlighted that GIFT City is set to become a global gateway for investors looking to tap into India’s opportunities.

Bhobe added that Tata AMC’s entry into IFSC will help connect international and NRI investors with India’s markets through innovative and accessible products.

Investment Strategy

The fund follows an active allocation strategy, adjusting to market conditions for risk-adjusted returns. It combines:

Large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap exposure

Tactical investments in emerging sectors like technology, energy, and healthcare

Abhinav Sharma, International Business Head at Tata AMC, explained:

50–100% of AUM will go into broad-based funds

0–50% into sectoral and thematic funds

This flexible approch gives investors diversified access to India’s equity market.

Tax Benefits for NRI Investors

A key advantage for NRI investors is that their earnings in India are fully tax-exempt. They will only be taxed as per the rules of their country of residence.

The fund is open to:

Foreign individuals and institutions

NRIs and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)

Investors from regions compliant with Financial Action Task Force (FATF) norms

Tata India Dynamic Equity Fund positions itself as a strong gateway for global investors to enter and benefit from India’s stock market.
