In New Delhi, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has decided to partner with Google to show authorized Aadhaar centres on Google Maps.
The announcement was made on Thursday by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
After this agreement, people across the country will soon be able to find their nearest verified Aadhaar (AADHAR) centre on Google Maps. They will also get important details about the services available at these centres.

With this new step, people will find it easier to identify Aadhaar centres for different services. Using Google Maps, they can easily visit centres for:
Adult enrolment
Child enrolment
Updating address
Updating mobile number
This will save time and reduce confusion.
Easy Access to Important Information
The new system will also provide useful details such as:
Whether the centre has facilities for differently-abled people
Availability of parking
Working hours of the centre
According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, this facility is expected to be available in the coming months.
Over 60,000 Aadhaar Centres to Be Listed
The main aim of this initiative is to give correct and important information about Aadhaar centres to the public. More than 60,000 Aadhaar centres, including modern Aadhaar Seva Kendras, will be available on Google Maps.
This will help users easily find and use verified Aadhaar centres across India.

UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar said that the authority always focuses on making services easier for Aadhaar holders. He said this partnership will make visiting authorized Aadhaar centres simpler, faster, and more transparent.
Roli Aggarwal, Country Head of Strategic Partnerships at Google India, said that integrating verified Aadhaar centres with Google Maps will help millions of residents find trusted services with confidence, which is very important today.
