People looking to buy a home or residential plot in Lucknow may soon get a major opportunity. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is ready to launch two large housing projects — Naimish Nagar and Varun Vihar.
According to reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to officially launch these projects soon. LDA has already completed most of the preparations, and the application process is likely to begin shortly.

More Than 3,100 Residential Plots on Offer
The new housing projects are part of LDA’s plan to meet the growing demand for housing in Lucknow and promote planned urban development.
A total of 3,105 residential plots will be made available through online registration under the Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar schemes.
The plots will be available in different sizes, ranging from 72 square meters to 450 square meters. This will allow buyers with different budgets and requirements to apply for suitable plots.
LDA officials have also directed the construction of major roads, ranging from 18 to 45 meters in width, within both projects.
Varun Vihar: Large Township Near Agra-Lucknow Expressway
Varun Vihar will be developed on around 6,580 acres of land along the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.
The project will feature more than 800 acres of green belts, parks, and water bodies. Plans also include an international-standard golf course, a large central park, and a logistics park spread across nearly 300 acres.
In the first phase, 1,926 residential plots will be launched.
Kailash Khand: 1,218 plots
Kashi Khand: 708 plots
Naimish Nagar: New Residential Hub in North Lucknow
Naimish Nagar is LDA’s second major housing project and will be developed across nearly 3,600 acres near IIM Road.
The project is being planned as a new urban development zone for northern Lucknow. Land acquisition is currently underway in several villages of Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT) tehsil.
During the first phase, registration will open for 1,179 residential plots.
Brahma Khand: 669 plots
Bhoomi Khand: 510 plots
Registration Expected to Start Soon
LDA officials say preparations related to registration, plot allotment, and lottery systems are in the final stages. Once launched, interested buyers will be able to apply online for plots in both projects.
With more than 3,100 plots, modern infrastructure, green spaces, and strategic locations, these schemes could become one of the biggest housing opportunities in Lucknow in the coming months.
