Namo Bharat Trip Pass is now available for regular passengers, allowing daily commuters to pay for multiple trips in advance instead of purchasing separate tickets for every journey or repeatedly recharging their National Common Mobility Card (NCMC).

The facility is designed for passengers who frequently travel between the same stations. Once the pass is loaded onto the NCMC card, one trip is automatically deducted when the passenger travels on the selected route.

For example, passengers who regularly travel between Sarai Kale Khan and Modipuram can purchase multiple trips in advance. The pass can also be used more than once on the same day.

Namo Bharat Trip Pass Offers More Convenience

The Trip Pass is intended to make regular travel simpler for working professionals, businessmen and students who commute frequently between fixed stations.

However, the pass is valid only for the originating and destination stations selected when it is purchased. If a passenger travels on a different route, the normal fare for that journey will be deducted from the Global Wallet of the NCMC card.

The Global Wallet can be recharged up to a maximum balance of ₹2,000.

Pass Options Range From 1 To 40 Trips

Passengers can choose from Trip Pass options ranging from one to 40 trips. These passes are available for both standard and premium coaches.

Passengers can purchase the pass from the counter located near the AFC gate at the station. This gives regular commuters an option to plan and pay for several journeys in advance.

Passengers also receive a 10% discount on each trip under the Trip Pass facility. In addition, the NCMC card loyalty programme provides one loyalty point for every ₹1 spent.

Why Regular Passengers May Benefit

According to the information provided, Namo India has around 1.1 lakh daily commuters, with many passengers travelling between stations regularly.

For such commuters, the Namo Bharat Trip Pass can reduce the need to purchase tickets repeatedly and minimise frequent NCMC card recharges. The facility is particularly relevant for passengers who follow the same route regularly.

The pass does not replace normal fares for journeys outside the selected route. Passengers travelling to other stations will continue to pay the applicable fare through the NCMC card’s Global Wallet.
