Keeping this in mind, Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Limited has launched two new funds — Tata AIA MultiCap Opportunities Fund and Tata AIA Multicap Opportunities Pension Fund.

Both funds follow a diversified equity strategy based on the Nifty 500 Index, allowing investors to take part in India’s overall growth story through investments in large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap stocks.

NFO Details and Investment Option

These new multicap funds will be available through a New Fund Offer (NFO) from December 24, 2025, to December 31, 2025. During the NFO period, the initial unit price of the funds will be ₹10.

Investors can invest in these funds through Tata AIA’s Unit Linked Insurance Plans (ULIPs). ULIPs provide market-linked returns along with the added benefit of life insurance cover.

Key Features of the Funds

Equity Exposure: 60% to 100%

Debt and Money Market Instruments: Up to 40%

Benchmark Index: Nifty 500

Investment Strategy: Balanced allocation across large, mid, and small-cap stocks

The Nifty 500 Index represents more than 90% of India’s free-float market capitalization, offering investors wide exposure to the Indian equity market.

Suitable for Long-Term Investors

The Tata AIA Multicap Opportunities Fund is designed for investors looking for long-term wealth creation with a balanced level of risk. While large-cap stocks provide stability, mid-cap and small-cap stocks offer higher growth potential.

By offering these funds through ULIPs, investors can combine wealth creation and family protection on a single platform. Investors may also enjoy tax benefits, subject to prevailing tax laws.

Company’s Statement

Harshad Patil, Chief Investment Officer, Tata AIA Life Insurance, stated that India’s growth opportunities are spread across sectors and company sizes.

He added that a multicap strategy reduces reliance on any single market segment, and a Nifty 500-based approach supports disciplined wealth creation over the long term.

ULIP Plans Offering These Funds

The Tata AIA Multicap Opportunities Fund will be available under several ULIP plans, including:

Param Raksha Life Series

Smart SIP

Fortune Pro

Wealth Pro

Shubh Fortune

Tata AIA Pro Fit

The Multicap Opportunities Pension Fund will be offered through:

Smart Pension Secure

Premier Pension Secure

AUM and Performance Track Record

As of November 2025, Tata AIA Life Insurance’s assets under management (AUM) have crossed ₹1.41 lakh crore, showing a year-on-year growth of 20.85%.

Additionally, over 95% of the company’s rated AUM has received a 4- or 5-star rating from Morningstar, reflecting strong fund performance.
