The grey market premium for NSE shares was around 9% on September 17, according to market trackers cited in reports. GMP is an unofficial indicator and can change before listing; it does not guarantee the listing price or returns.

The IPO is entirely an offer for sale of up to 12.64 crore existing equity shares.

Since it is an OFS, NSE itself will not receive the IPO proceeds; the money, excluding issue expenses, will go to the selling shareholders.

The exchange raised ₹6,746.2 crore from anchor investors ahead of the public issue. LIC, Government Pension Fund Global, Fidelity, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and other institutional investors participated in the anchor book.

The basis of allotment is expected to be finalised on September 22, while the shares are scheduled to begin trading on September 24.

The company is seeking a valuation of around ₹4.42 lakh crore at the upper end of the price band.

The issue also includes an employee reservation portion, with eligible employees offered a discount of ₹170 per share from the final issue price.
