Farmers are eagerly anticipating the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The Modi government will release this installment by the end of February 2025.

According to media reports, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar on February 24, 2025.

During an agricultural program, PM Modi will transfer the installment directly to the bank accounts of beneficiary farmers.

Farmers should note that updating e-KYC is mandatory under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme to receive the benefits.

Key Details About the 19th Installment

The previous, 18th installment was released on October 15, 2024. The 19th installment is expected to be distributed by February 24, 2025.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana), the government provides financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually to farmers.

This amount is sent in three installments of ₹2,000 each at an interval of four months via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Since the scheme’s launch, 18 installments have already been disbursed.

Eligibility Criteria for PM Kisan Scheme

Farmers need to meet the following conditions to benefit from the scheme:

1) The farmer must not hold a government job.

2) Farmers paying income tax are ineligible for the scheme.

3) Only one member per family is eligible to receive benefits.

4) Completing the e-KYC process is mandatory to avoid losing the installment benefits.
