HDFC Bank’s Special Senior Citizen Savings Account is aimed at making banking easier and safer for elderly customers.

The account offers cyber fraud insurance of up to ₹1.5 lakh, helping customers stay financially protected against online fraud.

Senior citizens also get doorstep banking services, allowing them to complete tasks like cash deposits, cash withdrawals, and cheque pickups without visiting a bank branch.

Apart from banking services, customers can receive vouchers worth up to ₹1,000, which can be used on platforms such as Amazon Pay, Uber, Swiggy, Zomato, Apollo Pharmacy, and NetMeds.

The bank has also partnered with Samarth Eldercare, Emoha, and Seniority to provide discounts and special offers on healthcare services and medicines.

SavingsMax Account Brings Extra Benefits for Women

HDFC Bank has also launched the SavingsMax Account for women.

The account combines banking with health, insurance, and lifestyle benefits.

Eligible customers can get free health check-ups through MediBuddy.

The account also includes the MoneyMaximizer feature, which automatically transfers extra money into a fixed deposit to help customers earn better interest.

Women opening this account can also get up to 50% discount on locker rent for the first year, subject to the bank’s terms and availability.

Insurance, Cashback and Lounge Access Included

The SavingsMax Account comes with several additional benefits, including:

Lifestyle vouchers worth around ₹300

Health check-ups worth up to ₹2,000

Personal accidental death cover of ₹10 lakh

Accidental hospitalization cover of ₹1 lakh

Debit card accidental insurance of ₹15 lakh

Air accident insurance cover of up to ₹3 crore

Who Should Consider These Accounts?

The Special Senior Citizen Savings Account is suitable for elderly customers looking for secure banking, doorstep services, and healthcare-related benefits.

The SavingsMax Account is designed for women who want more than just a savings account.
