Instead, their QR code will appear directly on their phone’s home screen. This feature was previously introduced for iPhone users and is now available for Android.

The main advantage of the QR widget is that it simplifies the payment process. Users can quickly display their QR code on their home screen, allowing others to scan it without opening the app or navigating through multiple steps.

Additionally, users are notified with a coin-drop sound when a payment is successfully received, ensuring they are immediately informed.

How to Set Up the ‘Receive Money QR Widget’

Update the App: Make sure your Paytm app is updated to the latest version.

Access the Profile Menu: Open the app and tap on the profile icon in the top-right corner.

Add the Widget: Select the ‘Add QR to Homescreen’ option displayed with your QR code.

Confirm and Display: Once you confirm, the QR widget will appear on your phone’s home screen.

With the QR code readily available, others can scan it and make payments easily.

Quick Payment and Instant Confirmation

Once the QR widget is set up, users can display it on their home screen for instant scanning.

When a payment is transferred to your account, you’ll hear a coin-drop notification, signaling the successful transaction. This eliminates the need to open the app for both receiving payments and confirming them.

Key Benefits of the ‘Receive Money QR Widget’

The main advantage of this widget is its ease of use. Users no longer need to go through a lengthy process to receive payments.

The QR code can be scanned directly from the home screen, and you will be notified with a coin-drop sound when the payment is received.

This eliminates the need to open the app or tap anywhere, making the transaction fast and convenient.
